One of our most important services is highly impacted by state budget reductions: our Therapeutic Youth Group Homes. Many youth who need temporary residential behavioral healthcare no longer receive state funding, which paid for their room and board costs when their parents or guardians could not. While in our service, our group home employees not only works intently with the youth, they work simultaneously with the parents or guardians to improve family health. When a youth graduates from our program the family has been given the tools they need to be healthier.
To continue providing this service to young Montanans we are in urgent need of funds for room and board scholarships. Donations given go directly to a youth in need, to ensure they’re able to continue their stay, be successful with their treatment goals and continue to grow as a healthy Montanan.
